EMPHASIS: Results Of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Operation In Greene County


Captain Randy Beydler, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announced today the results of a commercial vehicle enforcement operation that was held in Greene County from May 20, 2008 to May 22, 2008. The operation included commercial vehicle enforcement troopers assigned to Troop D, as well as commercial vehicle officers from Troop D, Springfield; Troop A, Lee’s Summit; Troop F, Jefferson City; and Troop I, Rolla.

During the operation, a total of 159 commercial vehicles were inspected. Of the vehicles inspected, 20 drivers and 46 vehicles were placed out of service. The troopers and officers made a total of 156 arrests, and issued 295 warnings during the three-day project.
