EMPHASIS: Temporary Closure Of The Driver Examination Station In Marshfield

Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announces the temporary closure of the driver examination station in Marshfield, Missouri, on Thursday, October 8, 2015. The public is encouraged to use the Springfield Driver Examination Station, located at 149 Park Central Square, Springfield, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also, motorcycle skills tests will be given from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For questions or directions, please call 417-895-6549. The Marshfield Driver Examination Station will resume normal testing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

Approximately 63 percent of Missouri fatal crash victims who are required to be restrained are NOT at the time of the traffic crash. The Patrol urges motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Join us in supporting the Drive To Zero Highway Deaths. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
