EMPHASIS: Name Released In Death Investigation


Valentin G. Kirilchuk, 39, of Springfield, Missouri, was the subject found deceased with an apparent gunshot wound at the rest area on northbound Interstate 29 in Platte County, Missouri on September 8, 2008.
Investigators from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control continue to seek answers into this death investigation.
Anyone with information about this incident or anyone who was in the rest area between 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on September 8, 2008, is asked to contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop A Headquarters at 816-622-0800.
