EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Moving Operation In Dekalb County


Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer Troop H, St. Joseph, releases the following information:

A total of 26 arrests and 42 warnings were issued in conjunction with a Hazardous Moving Operation in Dekalb County on June 22, 2014. The operation was conducted on US 36 Highway in Dekalb County. Totals from this enforcement effort include:

13--Citations for speeding
3--Citations for failure to wear seat belt
4--Citations for non-moving violations
1--Citation for no driver’s license
4--Citations for no insurance
1--Misdemeanor warrant arrest

Captain McDonald says, “The result of this operation is an example of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s commitment to keeping our roadways safe through strict enforcement.”

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
