EMPHASIS: Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) Operation In Lafayette County


Lieutenant Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) Operation will be held in Lafayette County during the month of May. The operation will concentrate on hazardous moving violations, with a special emphasis on “Move Over” violations.
Lieutenant Powell stated, “Our goal is reduce the number of traffic crashes by concentrating enforcement efforts on violations that cause vehicle crashes and place other motorists in danger.”
