EMPHASIS: Troop D To Participate In Brake Safety Awareness Week


The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) will participate this year in “Brake Safety Awareness Week”, scheduled for September 21, 2008 through September 28, 2008.

“Brake Safety Awareness Week” is an educational outreach program designed to train companies, drivers, and mechanics about proper brake adjustment limits and air brake system inspection.

Captain Randy Beydler, commanding officer of Troop D, invites all trucking companies who would like to participate in the program to contact the commercial vehicle enforcement office at the Troop D Service Center in Carthage, at 417-359-1500 extension 2228.
