EMPHASIS: Troop G New Year's Holiday Totals


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer, Troop G, Willow Springs, announced today the crash and DWI arrest totals for the New Year’s holiday counting period.
During the holiday weekend, troopers assigned to Troop G investigated a total of 32 traffic crashes, which resulted in seven injuries and no fatalities. During the counting period, which ran from 6:00 p.m. December 31, 2009, through 11:59 p.m. on January 3, 2010, officers also arrested 10 individuals for driving while intoxicated.
Captain Chadwick stated, “The goal of the Missouri State Highway Patrol is to see deaths and injuries from traffic crashes reduced to their lowest possible level. Please help us as you enter the New Year by ensuring that you are a safe, courteous, alert driver”.
