EMPHASIS: Captain Londell Jamerson Retires


Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the retirement of Captain Londell Jamerson, Q/CVED, after 32 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Missouri. His retirement is effective November 1, 2013.

Jamerson graduated from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in the 54th Recruit Class in 1981. His first assignment was Troop A, Lee’s Summit. In 1990, he was promoted to the rank of corporal and assigned to Troop A, Zone 4, Platte County. He was promoted to sergeant in 1995, and assigned to Zone 1, Platte County. Jamerson was promoted to lieutenant in 2000, and transferred to Troop C, St. Louis. In 2005, he was promoted to captain and designated director of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.

Captain Jamerson was born in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Central High School in Springfield, MO. He graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command in 1999. Jamerson earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in criminal justice (cum laude) from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, in 2005. Captain Jamerson and his wife, Monique (Sillimon), have three sons: Avery, Spencer, and Dominic.
