EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Selective Traffic Enforcement Operation To Be Conducted By Troop B Officers During The Month Of July

Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces on July 5, 2008, Troop B officers will be conducting a special traffic enforcement operation in Ralls County. During this six-hour enforcement operation, officers will be focusing their attention to highways in Ralls County, with a goal of detecting impaired drivers and other hazardous moving violations that contribute to traffic crashes.
“Drinking and driving is very dangerous and is the cause of numerous traffic crashes in Missouri,” stated Captain Elliott. “If your plans include drinking alcohol, please designate a sober driver.”
