EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Checkpoint Conducted In St. Louis County

Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, St. Louis, announces the results of a sobriety checkpoint conducted in St. Louis County by Troop C officers.
On Friday, July 3, 2009, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Page Avenue and West Line Drive in west St. Louis County.
As a result of the checkpoint, a total of 13 arrests were made and 26 warnings were issued. Of those arrests, six individuals were arrested for driving while intoxicated.
