EMPHASIS: Troop I Anounces DWI Saturations For July

Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that two DWI saturations will be conducted in Pulaski County sometime during the month of July 2010. During the enforcement operations, troopers will patrol those highways where in the past a higher number of alcohol-related traffic crashes and arrests have been made.
Captain Kenley stated: “Individuals arrested for DWI sometimes give excuses for why they choose to drink and drive. The fact is that there is never a legitimate reason to put your life or the life of another in peril. Let’s work together to make our roads safer by pledging to never drive a vehicle while impaired and encouraging others to do the same.”
