EMPHASIS: Temporary Closure Of Driver Examination Stations In Troop D


REVISED NEWS RELEASE: Due to recent changes, please note that on August 27, 2014, the driver examination station in Greenfield will now be open; however, the driver examination station in Monett will be closed.

Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announces the temporary closure of the driver examination stations in Branson West, Monett, and Ozark on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, for training. Also, there will be a temporary closure of the driver examination station in Marshfield on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at the Webster County 911 center. The public is encouraged to use the Springfield or Joplin locations, which tests daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The testing location and phone number in Springfield is 149 Park Central Square, (417) 895-6549. The address and phone number for the Joplin testing station is 1110 E. 7th Street, (417) 629-3230.

The Ozark and Monett examination stations will resume normal testing hours on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, while the Marshfield and Branson West examination stations will resume normal testing on Thursday, September 4, 2014, and Wednesday, September 10, 2014, respectively.

Patience and understanding from the public is and will be greatly appreciated.

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
