EMPHASIS: Adair County Drug Arrests


Captain Kyle D. Marquart, Director of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control, announces the results of a joint narcotics investigation in Adair County.

On Friday, April 6, 2012, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, North Central Drug Task Force, Kirksville Police Department, and Adair County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant on the ground level apartment located at 307 South Elson Street in Kirksville, Missouri. As a result of the search warrant, marijuana, prescription pills, and a variety of drug paraphernalia was seized from the residence. As a result, law enforcement officers made the following arrests:

Marvin W. Johnson Jr., 41, of Kirksville, Missouri, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance;
Ryan M. White, 19, of Kirksville, Missouri, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance;
Tammy L. Shoup, 31, of Kirksville, Missouri, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance;
Woody H. Dunn, 24, of Kirksville, Missouri, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance;
Marion A., Aldridge, aka Mark Aldridge, 21, of Kirksville, Missouri, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance;
Dakota Lee Downing, 21, of Baring, Missouri, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Dazmine S. Wagnon, 19, of Kirksville, Missouri, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Elizabeth J. Collis, 25, of Kirksville, Missouri, was charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were held in the Adair County Jail pending release on bond. The charges above for which the individuals were arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
