EMPHASIS: Troop I To Present Brake Safety Awareness Program


Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that the Troop I Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division will conduct a “brake safety” meeting. This meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., September 14, 2010, at the Troop I Driver Examination Annex Building. Troop I Headquarters is located approximately one-half mile north of Interstate 44 on Missouri Route E in Rolla.
The program is designed to help educate trucking companies, drivers, and mechanics on how to make proper brake adjustments. A Highway Patrol commercial vehicle enforcement officer will give presentations on the proper adjustment of air brakes and explain how hydraulic brakes function.
For additional information please contact the Troop I Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Office at 573-368-2345. Individuals attending the meeting should first check-in at the main facility of Troop I.
