EMPHASIS: 2013 Troop F Community Alliance Program


Captain Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer of Troop F, Jefferson City, MO, announced today Troop F has completed its 2013 Community Alliance Program. The class consisted of 20 participants who attended classes for six consecutive weeks at various Patrol facilities in Jefferson City. The goal of the Community Alliance Program is to give citizens a unique experience while being introduced to the duties of the Patrol. Courses on the history of the Patrol, radar, search and seizure, polygraph, driving while intoxicated, crime scene collection, and criminal interdiction were some of the programs presented. In addition, demonstrations by a K-9 unit, the bomb squad, Special Weapons and Tatics (SWAT), and marine operations were observed throughout the class. The final night consisted of dinner with the current recruit class and presentations of plaques for participating in the program.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol encourages motorist and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear it!!
