EMPHASIS: DWI Saturations In August
Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces that sometime during the month of August, driving while intoxicated saturations will be conducted in Pettis, Johnson, Cass, Jackson, Clay, and Platte counties.
The saturations are part of the continuing effort by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to remove intoxicated drivers from our highways. Members of the Highway Patrol will concentrate their efforts on highways based on a high number of alcohol-related crashes and enforcement contacts.
Captain Powell stated, “Remember to do your part to make our highways safe. If you are going to drink, please do not drive.”
