EMPHASIS: Selective Traffic Enforcement Operations To Be Conducted By Troop B Officers During The Month Of June 2009
Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces Troop B officers will be conducting two Selective Traffic Enforcement Operations during the month of June 2009.
On June 20, 2009 troopers will focus their attention on alcohol-related traffic offenses on highways in Macon County, and on June 26, 2009, troopers will focus their attention on hazardous moving violations, on U.S. Highway 61, throughout the Troop B area.
“The Missouri State Highway Patrol is committed to reducing traffic crashes and saving lives,” stated Captain Elliott. “Motorists can help in this effort by abiding by the speed limit, wearing a seat belt, and never getting behind the wheel of a vehicle if you have been drinking alcohol.”
