EMPHASIS: Troop G Announces Saturation Results


Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 46 arrests and 52 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI saturation conducted in Shannon and Texas counties on May 10, 2013. The designated highways for this saturation were U.S. Highway 63, Missouri Route 137, Missouri Route 106, and Missouri Route 17. Totals from this saturation include:

3 -- DWI arrests
1 -- speed summons
23 -- seat belt summonses
1 -- stop sign violation summons
4 -- other hazardous moving violation summonses
5 -- non-moving summonses
2 -- driving while suspended/revoked summonses
4 -- uninsured motorist summonses
3 -- misdemeanor warrant arrests

Captain Isringhausen says, “DWI saturations are one tool that the Missouri State Highway Patrol uses in order to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri’s motorists. Please be careful when behind the wheel and never drink and drive.”

The Missouri State Highway Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear It!!!
