EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Checkpoint In Cole County


Captain Dale A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F Headquarters, Jefferson City, announced today the results of a sobriety checkpoint that was held in Cole County on January 19, 2008. During the operation a total of 64 vehicles were stopped. One individual was arrested for driving while intoxicated and five were arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. In addition, 30 other citations and 66 warnings were issued.
