EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Moving Operation


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer, Troop H, St. Joseph, announces the results of a special operation. The hazardous moving operation was conducted on November 21, 2007, in Andrew County and is designed to target drivers that are operating motor vehicles in a hazardous manner.
A total of six troopers were assigned to the four-hour program. Troopers stopped a total of 17 vehicles and issued 18 summonses and 24 warnings to motorists. Breakdowns of the arrests are as follows:
Speeding 11
Driving while intoxicated 1
Seat belt 1
Hazardous moving 2
Non-moving 1
Driving while suspended 1
Felony drug arrest 1
