EMPHASIS: Troop C To Conduct DWI Saturation In Lincoln County


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces there will be a driving while intoxicated saturation conducted on April 30, 2010, in Lincoln County.

The saturation is part of the continuing effort of the Missouri State Highway Patrol to remove intoxicated drivers from Missouri roadways. Members of the Highway Patrol will concentrate their efforts on highways based on a high number of alcohol-related crashes and enforcement contacts.

"Last year Lincoln County had several serious traffic crashes where alcohol was a contributing factor," stated Captain Johnson. "This project should help reduce these types of crashes."
