EMPHASIS: Trooper William J. Crose Assigned To Troop B


Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces effective August 1, 2014, Trooper William J. Crose will transfer from Troop A to Troop B, Zone 5, which serves Adair and Schuyler Counties.
Trooper Crose is a native of Anchorage, Alaska, and graduated from St. Ignatius High School in St. Ignatius, Montana. He has served in the United States Army, National Guard, and is currently serving in the Army Reserve. During his military service, he served in the Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Crose was appointed to the Patrol on February 1, 1998, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop G, Zone 3, which serves Howell and Shannon Counties. In 2001 he transferred to Troop A, Zone 11, which serves Cass County. In 2008, he transferred to the Patrol's Gaming Division and was assigned to the Isle of Capri. In 2012 he transferred to Troop A, Zone 7, which serves Jackson County. He and his wife, Nicole, have three children.
In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
