EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Saturation In Lincoln County

Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation conducted on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, in Lincoln County. Four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers conducted the enforcement operation during the eight-hour project.

As a result of the enforcement program, a total of 15 arrests were made and 50 warnings were issued. Of the 15 arrests, six were for speed, two for no seat belt, two for driver’s license violations, and four for non-moving violations. One individual was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.

“Sobriety saturations are very important in making our highways a safer place to travel,” stated Captain Johnson. “Troop C officers will be conducting various special enforcement operations throughout 2011 with a goal of reducing traffic crashes and saving lives.”
