EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Moving Violation Project In Jefferson County



Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the results of a hazardous moving project conducted in Jefferson County by Troop C.
On Saturday, March 20, 2010, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a hazardous moving violation project in Jefferson County.
During the eight-hour operation, officers stopped a total of 61 vehicles. A total of 58 arrests were made and 53 warnings were issued. Among the arrests made, 18 were for speed, 12 for seat belt violations, and one for following too close. The remainder of summonses were for miscellaneous traffic violations.
