EMPHASIS: Hazardous Moving Violation Project In Jefferson County


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces that sometime during the month of March, Troop C will conduct a hazardous moving violation operation in Jefferson County. The goal of this program is to reduce the number of traffic crashes by concentrating enforcement efforts on hazardous moving violations that cause vehicle crashes and place other motorists in danger. The overtime operation concentrates additional officers to monitor traffic and ensure drivers are traveling in a lawful manner.
“Motorists need to know special enforcement programs such as these will be ongoing in the Troop C area in an effort to reduce traffic crashes,” stated Captain Johnson.
