EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Motor Vehicle Operations In Boone County

Captain Michael A. Turner, commanding officer, Troop F Headquarters, Jefferson City, announced today the results of two hazardous motor vehicle saturations that were held in Boone County on March 20, 2015, and March 29, 2015. The following is a list of enforcement contacts for the operations:

6 -- Seat Belt Violations
7 -- Speed Violations
8 -- Non Moving Violations
2 -- Following Too Closely Arrests
2 -- Driving While Suspended Arrests
4 -- Misdemeanor Drug Arrests
1 -- Misdemeanor Warrant Arrest
7 -- Stranded Motorists Assists
41 -- Warnings
41 -- Vehicles Stopped

In support of “The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths,” the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
