EMPHASIS: Hazardous Moving Violation Project In Greene County


Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announces that sometime during the month of April 2010, troopers will be conducting a hazardous moving violation project in Greene County. The primary goal of this project is to positively impact traffic problems by reducing crashes. The objectives are to heighten the awareness of the risks associated with drunk driving, and increase compliance of the speed limit and seat belt laws. The assigned troopers will work in high crash areas along Interstate 44 and the U. S. Highways.
