EMPHASIS: Captain Powell Announces Promotion Of Trooper Jeff Toal


Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee's Summit, announces the following promotion effective October 1, 2010:

Trooper Jeff Toal was promoted to the rank of corporal and will be designated as the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 15, which serves Henry County. Toal was appointed to the Patrol on January 16, 2001, as part of the 78th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 16, serving Benton County. In 2007, he transferred to Zone 15, Henry County.

Toal was born in Springfield, Missouri. He is originally from Republic, MO, and graduated from Republic High School in 1993. Before joining the Patrol, he attended Drury University, in Springfield, Missouri. Corporal Toal is married to Stacy (Bailey), formerly of Springfield, MO. They have two children: Matthew and Adam.
