EMPHASIS:
Troop D Releases Results Of Hazardous Moving Enforcement Operation
A total of 33 citations and 52 warnings were issued in conjunction with a hazardous moving operation conducted in Taney County on August 12, 2016. Totals from this enforcement effort include:
11 -- speed citations
12 -- seat belt citations
4 -- uninsured motorist citations
3 -- driver license citations
3 -- non-moving citations
In addition to the enforcement efforts, troopers assisted eight stranded motorists during this operation.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The Trust.”
