EMPHASIS: Troop D Announces Results Of Enforcement Saturation On The Niangua River

Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, announces the results of a water enforcement saturation in Dallas and Laclede counties on the Niangua River on Saturday, July 9, 2016. The goal of this enforcement operation was to detect intoxicated boaters and other violations that contribute to boating crashes and drownings. The enforcement location was selected based on the high number of drinking and
impairment-related boating crashes, in addition to reported behavioral problems, illegal drug usage, and underage alcohol consumption.

The following is a list of enforcement contacts made by troopers from Troop D and Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol during the saturation on the Niangua River:
