EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces Selective Enforcement Projects For February



Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that sometime during the month of February, Troop I officers will participate in two selective enforcement projects. One of the operations will take place in Crawford County and will emphasize the detection of drivers who are exceeding the speed limit. The other will take place in Phelps County and will emphasize the enforcement of hazardous moving violations.
Captain Kenley stated, “Last year, Troop I had significantly fewer traffic fatalities than in 2007. Through continued aggressive enforcement operations we hope we can help this trend continue. I encourage everyone to do their part by evaluating their driving habits as we work together to achieve the goal of having safer roads.”
