EMPHASIS: Patrol Announces DWI Saturation In Newton County


Captain Randy Beydler, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announces that sometime during the month of July 2008, Troop D officers will conduct a DWI saturation in Newton County.

“The Missouri State Highway Patrol is committed to removing intoxicated drivers from our highways,” said Captain Beydler. “Saturations and sobriety checkpoints are part of the Patrol’s strategy to make Missouri’s roadways safer.”

All citizens are urged to report any vehicle they observe operating in an unsafe manner. The public can contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol toll-free at 1-800-525-5555 or on their cellular phone at *55.
