EMPHASIS: Troop G Thanksgiving Holiday Traffic Totals


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer, Troop G, Willow Springs, announces the following C.A.R.E. (Combined Accident Reduction Effort) traffic totals for the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend:
Troop G reported zero fatal traffic crashes, investigated two alcohol-related traffic crashes, and investigated 13 crashes on C.A.R.E. designated highways. Troopers made eight DWI arrests issued 376 speeding citations and 86 seat belt tickets. Additionally, officers provided 79 motorist assists.
Captain Chadwick says, “Holidays are to be enjoyed with family and friends. As we look to the Christmas season, please remember to exercise the highest degree of care when you drive.”
