EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Hazardous Moving Operation

Captain Vincent J. Ellis, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces that Troop A will conduct a hazardous moving violation operation sometime during the month of April. The goal of this program is to reduce the number of traffic crashes by concentrating enforcement efforts on violations that cause vehicle crashes and place other motorists in danger. The overtime operation concentrates additional officers to monitor traffic and ensure drivers are traveling in a lawful manner.
To report aggressive driving, motorists can use the Patrol’s toll free emergency telephone numbers of 1-800-525-5555 or cellular *55.
