EMPHASIS: Announcement Of DWI Saturations In Troop H

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, in St. Joseph, announces that sometime during the month of September, two driving while intoxicated saturations will be conducted. The saturations will be held in Buchanan and Nodaway counties. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct the saturations. A total of five troopers will be assigned to the eight-hour operations.
Both Buchanan and Nodaway counties have been identified as counties with a higher frequency of alcohol-related traffic crashes in Troop H.
Captain Robinson urges the public to report all impaired drivers. To report unsafe driving, motorists can use the Patrol’s emergency telephone numbers. They are 1-800-525-5555 or, on a cellular phone, *55.
The Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear It!!!
