EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturation In Buchanan County


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation held on August 29, 2009, in Buchanan County.
Troopers issued 18 summonses, arrested two persons for driving while intoxicated, made one arrest for a drug violation, and issued 73 warnings during the eight-hour operation.
Captain Robinson stated, “The saturations are an effective tool to protect the public against impaired drivers.”
Motorists are encouraged to report impaired drivers by using the Patrol’s emergency telephone numbers: 1-800-525-5555 or *55 for cellular customers.
