EMPHASIS: Colonel Ron Replogle Announces March 1, 2013 Promotion


Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the following promotion effective March 1, 2013:

Lieutenant David A. Hall will be promoted to the rank of captain and remain in his current assignment as director of the Missouri Information Analysis Center.

Hall joined the Patrol on January 1, 1993, as a member of the 65th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy, Hall was assigned to Troop B, Zone 7, Edina, MO. In 1997, he transferred to the Division of Drug and Crime Control, General Headquarters, Jefferson City, MO. He was promoted to corporal in 2000; sergeant in 2003. In 2007, Hall was promoted to lieutenant and transferred to Troop F, Jefferson City. He transferred to the Missouri Information Analysis Center as its director in 2009.

Hall grew up in Hunnewell, MO. He graduated from Monroe City R-1 High School, in Monroe City, MO, in 1986. In 1991, he earned an associate's of science degree from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA. That same year, he earned an associate's of applied science degree in security administration from the Community College of the Air Force. In 1992, he earned a bachelor's of science degree in business management from the University of LaVerne in LaVerne, CA. He also earned an associate's of science degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area Community College in Park Hills, MO, in 1993. He earned a master's of science degree in criminal justice from Columbia College in 2003. Captain Hall and his wife, Lora, have three children.
