EMPHASIS: Troop B Officers To Conduct Selective Enforcement Operations During The Month Of March 2009


Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces Troop B officers will be conducting two Selective Enforcement Operations during the month of March 2009.
On March 15, 2009, troopers will focus their attention toward speed violations on highways in Adair County, and on March 21, 2009, troopers will focus their attention to alcohol-related traffic offenses on highways in Randolph County. During these enforcement operations, additional troopers will be scheduled to work these areas with a goal of detecting traffic violations that contribute to traffic crashes.
“The Missouri State Highway Patrol is committed in helping make our highways safer and saving lives,” stated Captain Elliott. “Troop B officers will be very busy throughout the year conducting special enforcement operations such as these.”
