EMPHASIS: Criminal Enforcement Operation Results


On October 19 and 20, 2008, Troop H officers conducted a two-day criminal enforcement operation on Interstate 35, to focus on the criminal element that utilizes the interstate system. Four troopers were assigned to the detail that was conducted in Daviess County.
Troopers issued two summonses for speeding, one for a child restraint violation and one non-moving violation. In addition, troopers wrote 87 warnings to motorists for various violations.
A total of 24 commercial vehicles and 38 non-commercial vehicles were stopped during the operation.
