EMPHASIS: Iowa and Missouri Cross Border Training Program


The Missouri State Highway Patrol is pleased to announce the Iowa and Missouri cross border training program. This program is geared to educating the public about state laws and regulations when crossing over into the state of Iowa. This program is a joint effort of the following agencies: the Iowa Motor Carrier Division, the Missouri Motor Carrier Division, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The goal of the program is to give farmers, small businesses, and the public the information needed to operate legally in both Iowa and Missouri.
Troop H will be conducting meetings from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 16, 2009, at the Missouri Department of Transportation building, located at 28320 250th Street, in Maryville, MO.
The second meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 26, 2009, at the Tarkio Elementary School cafeteria, located at 1201 Pine Street, in Tarkio, MO.
