EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Driving While Intoxicated Saturation


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, St. Louis, announces that sometime during the month of April, a driving while intoxicated saturation will take place in St. Louis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct the operation. This program concentrates troopers in a specific area to monitor traffic and rid intoxicated drivers from Missouri roadways.
“Approximately 29 percent of all fatal traffic crashes in Missouri involve drinking/drugs,” said Captain Johnson. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is dedicated to removing intoxicated drivers from Missouri roadways.
