EMPHASIS: Troop B Officers To Conduct DWI Saturations During March And April 2010


Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces that DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) saturations will be held in the Troop B area during the months March and April 2010. During these special enforcement operations, extra troopers will be scheduled to focus their attention on detecting and removing impaired drivers from highways specifically in Adair and Ralls counties.
"Intoxicated drivers are very dangerous to the motoring public," stated Captain Elliott. "If you observe a vehicle being driven in a careless manner or possibly being driven by an intoxicated driver, please contact your local law enforcement agency or the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 1-800-525-5555 or *55 on a cellular telephone."
