EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop F


Captain Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer of Troop F, Jefferson City, announces eight new troopers will be assigned to the Troop F area. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 97th Recruit class consisted of 30 troopers. The new troopers will begin their new assignment on January 6, 2014. The new Troop F troopers are as follows:

Trooper James M. Bava, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 4, Audrain County. In 2012, Trooper Bava graduated from Greenville College, in Greenville, Illinois, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Trooper Kerolos G. Gabra, of Urbana, Illinois, was assigned to Zone 5, Camden County. In 2012, Trooper Gabra graduated from Illinois State University, in Normal, Illinois, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Trooper Jessie S. Halley, of Macon, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 7, Howard/Cooper counties. Trooper Halley graduated in 2010 from Macon High School in Macon, Missouri. He attended the University of Central Missouri, in Warrensburg, Missouri

Trooper Adam M. Hitt, of Quincy, Illinois, was assigned to Zone 06, Moniteau/Morgan counties. Trooper Hitt graduated in 2008 from Quincy Notre Dame High School in Quincy, Illinois. In 2012, he graduated from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Trooper Matthew G. Kettenbach, of Jerseyville, Illinois, was assigned to Zone 11, Camden County. Trooper Kettenbach graduated in 2009 from Jersey Community High School in Jerseyville, Illinois. In 2013, he graduated from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, with a bachelor's degree in law enforcement and justice administration.

Trooper Andrew J. O’Brien, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 12, Gasconade/Osage counties. Trooper O’Brien graduated in 2006 from St. Pius X High School in Festus, Missouri. In 2012, he graduated from University of Missouri-St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Trooper Eric C. Penrod, of Elsberry, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 10, Boone County.
Trooper Penrod graduated in 2005 from Elsberry High School in Elsberry, Missouri. He served with the United States Army from 2007-2012. He currently is a member of the Army Reserves. Trooper Penrod is married to Amanda (Olsen) Penrod.

Trooper Aaron M. Starnes, of Lebanon, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 18, Miller County. Trooper Starnes graduated in 2011 from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Missouri. In 2013, he graduated from Ozarks Technical Community College, in Lebanon, Missouri, with an associate's degree in general education.
