EMPHASIS: Troop I Employees To Serve Pizza For Special Olympics

On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Troop I employees will raise funds for Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) by serving and working at Pizza Inn in Rolla. All tips and 20% of each sale will be donated to help Special Olympics athletes as they strive to bring home the gold.
Captain Lee Ann Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I stated, “I first want to thank Pizza Inn of Rolla for letting our employees have this opportunity to earn money for Special Olympics Missouri. Last year, through the sale of T-shirts and hats, Troop I raised $8,768 to help these athletes attend events. However, with Pizza Inn’s help, we hope to surpass our 2008 earnings. I encourage everyone to enjoy an evening with your friends or family as you dine on pizza and contribute to a most worthy cause.”
