EMPHASIS: Driving While Intoxicated Saturations In March
Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces that sometime during the month of March, driving while intoxicated saturations will be conducted in Cass, Clay, and Johnson counties.
The saturations are part of the continuing effort of the Missouri State Highway Patrol to remove intoxicated drivers from the roadways. Members of the Highway Patrol will concentrate their efforts on highways based on a high number of alcohol-related crashes and enforcement contacts.
Captain Robert L. Powell stated, “Do not let your life or someone else’s life be ruined by an alcohol-related crash or arrest. If you are going to drink, please do not drive.”
