EMPHASIS: Troop H Announces Results Of A DWI Saturation



Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, announces the results of a DWI saturation conducted on March 16, 2014, in Clinton County. The location of the saturation was selected due to an elevated number of alcohol-related traffic crashes and impaired drivers.
The following is a list of enforcement contacts made during the operation.
Speed Violations -- 2
Seat Belt Violation -- 1
Child Restraint Violation -- 1
Non-Moving Violation -- 1
Uninsured Motorist -- 1
Felony Warrant Arrest -- 1
Other Felony Arrest -- 1
Warnings -- 23
Captain Robinson stated, âWe are pleased that none of the drivers stopped for traffic violations were intoxicated. Removing impaired drivers from the highways is a priority for the Missouri State Highway Patrol.â
The Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear it!
