EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Checkpoint In DeKalb County


Captain Johnnie B. Hoggatt, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated checkpoint held in Dekalb County.
The checkpoint was conducted on June 8, 2007, on U.S. Highway 36 at Hedge Road. There were nine troopers assigned to the three-hour operation.
Troopers made three arrests during the operation. The three arrests were for driver’s license violations. The officers also issued 25 warnings to motorists during the operation.
Captain Johnnie B. Hoggatt said, “We were very pleased that no intoxicated drivers were discovered tonight.”
