EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Upcoming DWI Saturations To Be Conducted In The Troop B Area

Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces that sometime during the months of August and September 2010, Troop B officers will be conducting Selective Traffic Enforcement Operations (DWI Saturations) in Clark, Macon, Monroe, and Randolph counties. During these enforcement operations, troopers will focus their attention on impaired drivers, speeding, hazardous moving violations, and other traffic violations that contribute to traffic crashes.

"The Missouri State Highway Patrol is committed in making our highways safer," stated Captain Wilt. "The goal of these traffic enforcement operations is to reduce traffic crashes. Please do your part by being a responsible driver, and making sure all occupants are restrained."
