EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Selective Traffic Enforcement Operations To Be Conducted By Troop B Officers During The Month Of November 2008


Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces upcoming Selective Traffic Enforcement Operations to be conducted in the Troop B area during the month of November 2008.
On November 14, 2008, and November 15, 2008, extra officers will be assigned to highways throughout the Troop B area from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. each day. On November 29, 2008, an additional trooper will be assigned to Linn and Chariton counties from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m.
During each of these enforcement operations, troopers will focus their attention on intoxicated drivers and other hazardous moving violations that contribute to traffic crashes.
