EMPHASIS: Patrol Investigates Recent Home Invasion And Burglaries


As a result of a multi agency investigation including the Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, investigators have three suspects in the recent home invasion and burglaries that have occurred in the city of St. Joseph as well as Andrew, Buchanan, and Holt counties. The three suspects have not yet been charged with the crimes and are currently being held on unrelated charges in St. Joseph. The investigators are searching for additional persons of interest in these crimes.
The Patrol investigators feel there is no connection between the crimes and Kansas City area gangs that have been rumored to have perpetrated the home invasion and other area burglaries.
The agencies currently involved in the continuing investigation are the Andrew, Buchanan and Holt County Sheriff’s Departments, the St. Joseph Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
